Award-winning speaker and best-selling author Barb Schwarz is the founder and CEO of StagedHomes.com. Since 1972, Schwarz has been educating realtors and home-sellers alike on the benefits of home staging, and as a result has been given credit as the creator of the Staged Homes Concept as well as the home staging industry. Barb Schwarz has published articles about real-estate topics in a wide variety of national publications, and has been written about by The New York Times, US News, World Report, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Home Magazine, Realtor Magazine, Business Week Magazine, Southwest Airlines Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and many more. She has also been featured on television news channels such as FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS and PBS. In addition to her many written and television appearances, Schwarz has also logged over 18,000 hours of public speaking on real-estate related topics, and in 1990 she was awarded her designation as a Certified Speaking Professional by the National Speakers Association. She also trains realtors through the Accredited Staging Professional, ASP/ASPM® Courses and Designation, which she developed, and she is also the founder and director of The Staging University®.
