Author Frank Gallinelli is a real estate investor, teacher, and writer. He is also a software developer and writes about real estate investment and development for his company’s website, realdata.com. He founded RealData to provide software to investors and developers that is high-quality, yet affordable. As an educator, Gallinelli serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor for Columbia University’s Master of Science in Real Estate Development program. He teaches real estate finance and, using his company’s software, analysis techniques. He has also taught English and math in New Haven, Connecticut. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, Gallinelli and his family moved to Connecticut when he was just six years old, and he remains there today. He has a degree from Yale (1968), and it was after graduation that he began investing in real estate. He and his wife, Jean, have a son and daughter and are also grandparents. He has a passion for writing, and though he hopes to write a novel someday he enjoys the fact that he is a published author.
