John Schaub has over 35 years of experience as a real estate investor, and has endured through some of the real estate market’s toughest times. He sells and manages his own properties, and finds joy in providing good housing at fair prices. He is a firm advocate of buying better houses that will require less management and will attract better tenants, who plan on staying long term. In addition to real estate, Schaub invests his own time with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Fuller Center for Housing. He is on the board of the Fuller Center for housing, Habitat for Humanity’s U.S. Council, has over 20 years as a board member for the Sarasota Branch of Habitat for Humanity, and has over 7 years on Habitat’s International Board. Schaub earned a B.A. from the College of Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1970. He, his wife Valerie, and his three adult children, Jay, Megan, and Tyler, love to travel together. He also enjoys fishing, water and snow skiing, flying (he’s a pilot), and driving both power and sail boats.
